POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail General Manager (RGM) is responsible for managing daily operations of the retail store including both the production activities and the retail selling floor. This includes customer service, stocking, merchandising, inventory control, budgeting, and record keeping. Also included is the overall production efficiency, housekeeping standards, safety standards, loss prevention, and coordination of merchandise flow. The RGM is responsible for clearly defining roles, responsibilities and requirements for their direct reports and hold each accountable by setting specific performance expectations, providing necessary training, and giving consistent feedback.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for the overall operation of the retail store, including store opening and closing. - Oversee all production levels, and quality of merchandise to the sales floor to optimize revenue generation. - Manage inventory levels of all merchandise lines. - Monitor and ensure a smooth and effective flow of donations adhering to all published standards, security, safety, and State laws.   - Maintain staffing levels while attaining budgeted payroll expense. Summary/Objective Reporting to the Workforce Development Manager, the Digital Inclusion Instructor develops, coordinates, and facilitates digital skills training, digital navigation services, and other digital inclusion activities. The digital skills training consists of instruction on essential computer skills and software application skills. Responsible for providing digital inclusion services to Goodwill program participants and Goodwill employees, to include: program intake, NorthStar digital literacy assessments, group or individual digital skills training sessions, individual digital navigation services, coordination with other employment services, and follow-up activities. These activities may be conducted in-person or virtually. The digital skills training and digital navigation services may be conducted at Goodwill locations, on the Mobile Workforce Unit, or at other community partner locations.
