  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing onboarding support, assisting with benefits, working within HR related systems, and assisting in a variety of project-oriented tasks.

     

    Essential Functions

    • Assist with the administration of policies and programs
    • Assist with maintenance of internal database files and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff
    • Manage data integrity and accuracy among multiple systems
    • Stay current with federal, state and local compliance issues
    • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned processes
    • Troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects problems within systems and processes.
    • Runs scheduled reports and creates reports as needed.
    • Manages employee files by uploading employee personnel documents to HRIS system and maintaining any applicable paper files for retention purposes to include I-9s.
    • Provides HR system(s) log-on information and resets HR system(s) passwords for employees.
    • Performs employment verifications
    • Serves as backup for benefits administration
    • Processes purchase orders and reconcile billing as needed.
    • Creates and conducts audits and other quality assurance initiatives to proactively identify and address issues related to HR processing and other activities
    • Shares responsibility with other team members for responding to questions and troubleshooting issues related to policies, procedures, payroll, benefits, and other HR areas in a timely manner
    • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
    • Filing, responding and maintaining unemployment requests

    Qualifications

    Qulaifications

    • 2 years of recent HR related experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients as demonstrated by finding common ground in completing tasks and solving problems
    • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • Driven to learn and stay current professionally
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity, discretion and tact
    • Strong project management skills
    • Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
    • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
