  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the ADC Supervisor, the Donation Center Associate is responsible for completing duties as assigned according to production and workflow standards, as well as ensuring a positive customer/donor experience.


    Essential Functions

    • Maintaining appropriate security of donated goods
    • Complying with Agency policies and procedures
    • Ensuring a high level of customer service both front and back
    • All other duties as assigned by the District Manger
    • All other duties as assigned by the District Manager


    • Ensuring quick processing of high-quality donations for transportation to Agency stores
    • Meeting production numbers as set by divisional management
    • Ensuring loss prevention and process flow guidelines are followed
    • All other duties as assigned by the District Manger


    • Performing duties according to safety expectations and procedures
    • Ensuring the physical safety of the back room and sales floor
    • Communicating safety issues and concerns to ensure quick resolution
    • All other duties as assigned by the District Manager


    The Donation Center Associate will be a proven performer with the following:

    • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
    • Ability to write simple correspondence
    • Ability to effectively present information in one on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
    • Basic mathematical skills
