Essential Functions

  • Identify items tagged for shipment.
  • Locate boxes and packing material appropriate for the item being shipped.
  • Package and seal items, preventing damage to merchandise.
  • Weigh item, ensuring correct postage based on weight and dimensions.
  • Create address labels, postage stickers and insure the package contents with designated UPS/USPS software
  • Ensure the item is shipped in a timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned by the eCommerce Manager





The eCommerce Shipping Clerk will be a proven leader with the following:

  • Ability to identify box sizes appropriate for the item being shipped
  • Ability to package the items securely, preventing damage or breakage
  • Ability to learn and use shipping software to create labels and insure contents
  • Basic typing and spelling to correctly label and ship packages
  • Meeting and exceeding production standards per hours worked unless assigned to other tasks
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to follow policies


A. Performing duties according to safety expectations and procedures
B. Ensuring the physical safety of the back room and sales floor
C. Cleaning production station after every shift
D. Communicating safety issues and concerns to ensure quick resolution
